Chester “Chet” Adrian Parsons (1887 – 1977), son of Adrian Alkanah Parsons (1846 – 1929) and Mary Mariah (Fox) Parsons (1850 – 1922), served during WWI in the American Expeditionary Force in France from April 1918 – April 1919 William E Dunn (1858 - ) a mining engineer, 2nd Lieutenant, Co. E of 1st U S Volunteer Calvary, (Rough Riders) of Spanish – American War. He later served as Secretary – Treasurer of the Rough Riders Association. He was living in New York City in 1917, was among the men who volunteered to serve in Theodore Roosevelt’s “Expeditionary Forces” and is attributed as the author of many letters from Roosevelt’s office.
