Chester “Chet” Adrian Parsons (1887 – 1977), son of Adrian Alkanah Parsons (1846 – 1929) and Mary Mariah (Fox) Parsons (1850 – 1922), served during WWI in the American Expeditionary Force in France from April 1918 – April 1919.
Mrs. Melvin Gibbs is Florence Estelle (Hanthorn) Gibbs (1884 – 1973). Her mother Rebecca Viola (Fox) Hanthorn (1862 – 1932) was sister to Chet’s mother Mary Mariah (Fox) Parsons (1850 – 1922), making Florence Chet’s cousin.
