Horn Book Review

Farmer Ben is having a fine day selling his watermelons until Mrs. Ben discovers that all the money in the cash box is missing. Luckily, the Bear Detectives are on hand to crack the case. Dispensing with characterization, the mystery is made simple enough for early readers to follow (although words like [cf2]yon[cf1] and [cf2]Marguerite[cf1] will likely stump them).
