Chester “Chet” Adrian Parsons (1887 – 1977), son of Adrian Alkanah Parsons (1846 – 1929) and Mary Mariah (Fox) Parsons (1850 – 1922), served during WWI in the American Expeditionary Force in France from April 1918 – April 1919. Plainfield Lodge No. 653. F.& A.M. is a masonic lodge in Plainfield, Indiana chartered May 25, 1904 and is located at 107 S Center St. Both Chester Parsons and his father, Adrian Parsons were members. W.A. Rushton is Walter Asbury Rushton (1874 – 1967) who served as Worshipful Master of the Lodge in 1916. A funeral director, Rushton operated Rushton Funeral Home, now Hampton – Gentry Funeral Home, in Plainfield from 1915 – 1933.
