Four girls receive invitations to apply for a school they've never heard of and make it through the unusual testing process to find themselves placed in a magical boarding school for students with powers. Once the school year begins, a young woman's spirit urges the new girls to solve her murder which has been cold since the 1980s -- but unbeknownst to them, doing so will put them in mortal danger.

Rosewood Boarding School is a school for magic, deeply embedded in Nordic mythology, nature magic and shamanism. All of the students have powers. Four girls from different parts of Denmark have been invited to apply for a reason that is as yet unknown to themselves. During the unorthodox application tests it becomes apparent that a spirit is trying to establish contact with the girls: a young girl was murdered under mysterious circumstances in the 1980s and the killer was never found. Her spirit is urging the four girls to bring justice and find the killer. But helping the spirit will put all of the girls in grave danger.... -- adapted from jacket
