What this means to you:
If you are a resident user of any participating public library in Hendricks County you may get a free card and borrow items from any other participating public library in the county.

What you need to do: 
To participate in this program, check with your home library to make certain your card has your current address, phone number and has no outstanding fines, fees or overdue items.  Take your home library card along with a picture ID with your current address on it to the library where you would like to participate.  The library staff will call your home library to verify your card—please be patient!

Please note:  If you do not find the title you are looking for at any participating libraries, you may ask for an interlibrary loan.  Interlibrary loans must be done at your home library.

We prefer that you return materials to the library from which they were borrowed.  You can return materials at any participating Hendricks County library with the understanding that you will be responsible for any fines you might incur if the library does not receive the materials by their due date.  Each library has different loan periods and fine schedules.  Please ask for details at each library.
