Description:
Seth Thomas "Tom" Huron was born June 26, 1850 in Avon, Indiana to Benjamin Abbott (1811 - 1888) and Katharine (Harding) Huron (1815 - 1902). He married Mary Etta Farmer (1856 - 1950) August 2, 1876 at the home of Etta’s parents in Clermont (Marion county) Indiana. They farmed 180 acres of what is now Beechwood Center and Beechwood Farms in Avon, Indiana, which at that time was a combination of farm fields, woods and orchards. They had six children, four of whom survived to adulthood. Tom died June 15, 1934. Back of photoraph: " May 1878"
