Leroy married Myrtle Marie Games (1896-1960) on November 28, 1919 in Hendricks County. John married Emma Jane Watt (1890 – 1950) on August 4, 1915 in Hendricks County. Leroy farmed in partnership with his father “Tom” Huron who owned 180 acres of what is now Beechwood Center and Beechwood Farms, Avon, Indiana, which at that time was a combination of farm fields, woods and orchards. Leroy met his wife Myrtle at the School for the Deaf where he attended school from 1909 to about 1911. They set up housekeeping on the property and had one daughter, Joyce Marie Huron (1925-2024). He died of carcinoma of the liver at age 39. John attended Manual Training High School in Indianapolis from 1909 – 1912. His wife, Emma, was Avon’s school teacher and boarded with the Huron’s. John farmed with his father and Leroy until 1924 when he attended electrical school in Chicago, then took a position in Columbus, Ohio in 1925 as a foreman in a college power plant. They had two children, Marielta Huron (1916–1985) and Roberta Jane Huron (1919–2011).
