Katharine Harding came to Hendricks County with her father, Aaron Harding, an original land owner in Washington Township. She died while visiting her daughter in Florida in 1902.
Katharine and her husband, Benjamin Abbott Huron (1811-1888) had 10 children: Aaron Othneil Huron (1836–1841), George Andrew Huron (1838–1927), Dr. Francis “Frank” Henry Huron (1840–1928), Luellen “Lu” Huron Bennett (1841–1931), Sarah June “Jen” Huron (1844–1933), Esther “Est” Ann Huron Kelsey (1846–1932), Amanda Kate “Kate” Huron Gilbert (1848–1940), Seth Thomas “Tom” Huron (1850–1934) and Mary Elizabeth Huron Cooper Ragan (1852 –1921).
Photograph was taken before 1902.
