Marion A. Wellman was born December 27, 1895 in Frankfort, Indiana to John Marion Wellman and Nancy Jane Stewart Wellman. Marion married Lana B. Macher (1895 – 1962) in 1938. He served in WWI under the name Brown and died April 5, 1962 as a millwright. Truman Holt - unknown Orra E. Bartley Sowder was born January 1869 to Avon merchant/postmaster Robert Madison Bartley (1831 – 1912) and Catherine (Barker) Bartley (1844 – 1902). She married Charles R. Sowder (1870 – 1942) on November 24, 1897. By 1910 they had moved to Indianapolis, where she died March 25, 1937. They had no children. Mary Edith “Edith” (Merritt) Ragan (1890 – 1949) was born to George Thomas Merritt (1844 – 1906) and his second wife Hannah A. Barker (1850 – 1925). Hannah Barker was the daughter of Robert Jorden Barker (1810 - 1894) and Dorcus Gossett Barker (1818 – 1894). Edith married Foster Ragan August 8, 1909 and divorced before 1948. Mary Cook, was born December, 1880 to James Stephen Cook (1853 – 1938) and Susan Matilda (Barker) Cook (1855 – 1941) who moved to Iowa in after their 1877 marriage in Hendricks County. Mary was born in 1881 in Appanoose County, Iowa and lived in Appanoose County for the majority of her life as a primary school teacher. According to the 1925 Iowa Census, she completed school through grade twelve. Charles Franklin “Frank” Riggan was born May 24, 1871 to William Riggan (1831 – 1910) and Salome Isabella Evert Riggan (1844 – 1912). He married Margaret Esther “Maggie” (Merritt) Riggan (1876 – 1947) on November 8, 1899 in Hendricks County and died June 26, 1933. They had two children, Hershell Harris Riggan (1901 - ) and Inez Larue Riggan Eggers (1903 – 1983). Mary Margaret Esther “Maggie” Merritt Riggan was born October 28, 1876 to George Thomas Merritt (1844 – 1906) and Hannah Barker Merritt (1850 – 1925). She married Charles Franklin “Frank” Riggan (1871 – 1933) on November 8, 1899 in Hendricks County and died in 1947. They had two children, Hershell Harris Riggan (1901 - ) and Inez Larue (Riggan) Eggers (1903 – 1983). Otto David Weer Sr. was born February 17, 1878 to Harrison “Harris” Weer (1840 – 1910) and Sarah Agelina (Taylor) Weer (1850 – 1888). He married Cecil Pearl “Pearl” Coryell (1887 – 1966) on October 18, 1921. They had one son, Otto David Weer, Jr. (1922 – 2002). Lilly Luella Weer Smith was born January 22, 1880 to Harrison “Harris” Weer (1840 – 1910) and Sarah Agelina (Taylor) Weer (1850 – 1888). She married Barney M. Smith (1879 – 1963) on November 19, 1910. She had one daughter before marriage, and three daughters after marriage. Ruth Amelia Barker was born June 4, 1894 to Daniel Stright Barker (1846 – 1925) and Emily A. (Mark) Barker (1859 – 1944). She died September 13, 1970. According to the Tampa Bay Times (St. Petersburg, Florida) 14 Sep 1970: “Barker, Miss Ruth Amelia, 76, of 290 Sooner St., North Port Charlotte, Sunday (Sept 13 1970). Born in Avon, Ind. Came to North Port Charlotte two years ago from there. Taught English and home economics in the Indiana School System for a number of years and then became supervisor of the postal employees cafeteria in the Federal Building in Indianapolis, Ind., retiring 11 years ago. Methodist Church of North Port Charlotte and the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the church, the University Club and Tops Club, both of North Port Charlotte and the North Port Charlotte Civic Association. Survived by one adopted son, Frederick R. Barker, and one sister, Mrs. Mary E. White, North Port Charlotte.” Jorden Herman “Herman” Barker was born September 7, 1886 to Daniel Stright Barker (1846 – 1925) and Emily A. (Mark) Barker (1858 – 1944). He married Ada Florence Reed on June 22, 1910. She died in a car accident on December 9, 1933. On November 21, 1937 he married Minnie Fahrbach (1896 – 1982).
