This is a photograph of William Gladden Reed. He was born in Marion County, Indiana on January 30, 1841 and married Sarah Ann Larsh on October 9, 1873. To this union was born four children: Millie Frances Reed, William Everett Reed, Ada F. (Reed) Barker, and Lester Arlo Reed. They lived on farmland located north of US Highway 36 on Dan Jones Road (2012 location). They later sold this land and retired to Danville, Indiana where William died on September 29, 1919.
